Katie Stevens, who plays Jane Sloan on The Bold Type, is serving up all kinds of glamour in new photos that she shared on her Instagram account. Clearly, Katie knows what colors look best on her as the 26-year-old singer and actress is stunning in red as she displays a side part in her hair. Fans are accustomed to seeing Katie with a middle part, and it’s a look she’s worn for years. When Katie appeared on American Idol Season 9, back in 2009, she was a mere 16-years-old. Katie’s look in the photos below is a more mature Katie, but still youthful and fitting for what a woman in her mid-twenties should wear.
Celebrity hairstylist Ryan Richman created the look that is sleek, with loose waves textured bob that falls below Katie’s chin. It’s the side part, however, that brings a new, more glamorous look to Katie and shows off her gorgeous face.
Katie shared two photos. In the first photo, you can get a good look at her hair. In the second, she looks down towards the floor and show’s off her beautiful eyeshadow.
Celebrity makeup artist Allan Avendano is credited with Katie’s gorgeous look. Pairing her red top with gold earrings, Allan opted to accentuate Katie’s blue eyes with plenty of shimmery, metallic gold eyeshadow. Allan didn’t opt for a deep red lip, but rather a deep blush pink with just a hint of red. Katie’s brows were perfectly arched and thick. Her eyeshadow blended from gold to deep brown at the outer corner of her eyes.
