Today I laid on your chest and listened to you take your last breaths, I heard your last heartbeat, I kissed you over and over and over until you were no longer. Although I may never accept this new way of life, I may never stop hurting, I may never understand, and I will forever wish I had more of you… I will try to find peace knowing you will hurt no more.
